X2 Gold Bio Bag Package
X2 bio bag is an adequately composed medium for bacteria and yeasts. Thanks to the presence of bio bag in the tank, biological maturation of the tank and biofilm growth are supported. In newly established tanks, a bacterial coating develops on the bag's surface. It helps maintain water quality and provides future food for shrimps. Additionally, during biological processes taking place in it, Lubao generates a small amount of CO2, which improves plant growth and slightly lowers pH in the tank. Moreover, complex sugars and enzymes beneficial for shrimps are released into the tank.
Use one bag for every 30 litres of water. When setting up a shrimp tank, bio bag should be placed in the tank from day one. In a functioning aquarium, bio bag should be soaked the day before in water from the tank. After that, it can be put into the tank. The bag should sink within 24 hours. If the bag does not sink, squeeze the air out of it and let it sink. Within a few days, a biofilm (white cotton wool) will appear on the surface of the pouch, indicating that the bio bag is working correctly. In addition, a slight "bubbling" - the release of CO2 - may be visible. Shrimps will start to feed on the pouch. In a tank with bio bag, filtration should be turned on all the time. The tank should be well aerated. Bio bag product for tank start up. A blend of nutrients to assist in tank start up. Place 1 bag into aquarium. When tank clears it is ready for shrimp.
