X2 Red Bio Bag Package

Filter bag contains beneficial bacteria, microorganism cultivation base, and grains.   Filter bag  can be used for daily tank use.  One bag will last up to three months.

How it works:
The bag contains a medium that supports the growth of biofilm and the biological maturation of the tank. The bag's surface develops a bacterial coating that helps maintain water quality and provides food for shrimp. The bag also releases enzymes and complex sugars that are beneficial for shrimp.
How to use:
In an established tank, soak the bag in tank water the day before adding it to the tank. The bag should sink within 24 hours. Place one bag in the tank for every 30 liters of water.  One bag will last for up to 3 months.

Signs it's working :
After a few days, a white cotton wool-like biofilm should appear on the surface of the bag, and you might see some bubbling, which is the release of CO2. 

Benefits:
The CO2 released by the bag improves plant growth and slightly lowers the pH of the aquarium.
